Here's how it works!
A lot goes into creating a beautiful shoot, and that's where our years of professionalism and experience come in. We tackle the tough stuff and all the little details behind the scenes, so that we can focus on guiding and working with you through the fun creative parts, checking all the boxes along the way so that we are set up for success on our shoot day!
Our Process in 4 easy steps:
I. Initial Consultation
First, we'll hop on a call to chat through ideas, discuss your goals for the photoshoot, and look over some mood boards or reference images if needed to get us all on the same visual page. We will briefly walk you through the next steps, and answer any questions you may have. This is also a great opportunity to get to know a little bit more about each other along the way! Don't worry, if you don't have all your ideas together, or want some help, that's what we're here for!
II. Pre-Production
This is where all the puzzle pieces begin to take shape. Once the direction of your shoot is decided and we've received your deposit, we will then begin all the planning and arranging for our shoot together. We'll communicate with you along the way; checking in to give you updates as we go and making sure everything is flowing in the right direction. We're available throughout this time leading up to the shoot day to help you with any further questions that may pop up.
A few days before the shoot, you will receive your invitation & call sheet, outlining all of the final details, timing, and any other information you'd need for the day!
III. The Shoot Day
On the day, we will meet up at the chosen location, chat a bit while we get settled in and set up, and then we'll get started! We generally give each look 45-60 minutes, allowing time to get comfy and acquainted with being in front of the camera, and plenty of time to get a variety of shots/scenes. To get the cinematic shots we love, we will often have you moving around, capturing you in the moments of action, guiding and directing you along the way - don't worry, no prior experience is ever needed.
IV. Post-Production
After the shoot, you can expect to receive an email follow up from us with a link to your private gallery, typically within two weeks unless previously arranged. We will upload your color graded images here for you to review and make selects for retouching if needed. The selects will then be retouched by one of the two of us--they are never sent out to third parties or batch retouched with AI. Once the images are complete, they will also be uploaded to your gallery to be downloaded, shared, or printed!
Need help making choices or feeling overwhelmed trying to pick your favorites? We understand, it can be challenging task! You can take your time when making selects, there's no rush from us. We can also schedule a call to review your images along with you to lend our thoughts and expertise.
